Established since 2015, Monzlapur’s creative inspiration stems from a harmonious blend of culture, movement, music and textures.

Monz is our designer Mona, and Lapur comes from the French word lapure meaning “at purest form”. Rooted in her background in Sudan, and African-Arab heritage she finds inspiration in the intricate details of rich textiles and prints. Now based in Brooklyn for years, she is driven to create scenarios that seamlessly fuse exotic textures, and surrealism prints with contemporary urban culture and silhouettes.

Monzlapur’s inspiration lies in the exploration of new concepts, emphasizing fluidity and elevation. Where the past meets the future. Each creation is crafted to serve as a conversational piece, evoking connections and sparking conversation.

Our aim is to produce pieces that not only co-create moments but also inspire freedom of self-expression and identity.
